Whakatane I-Site and Waterfront

Cuesko was approached by Whakatāne District Council to provide a split concept estimate for the Whakatane I-SITE and Waterfront. The Whakatane I-SITE and Waterfront project is a comprehensive redevelopment initiative aimed at enhancing public access and connectivity while preserving the area’s natural beauty and cultural significance.

This project involves significant infrastructural modifications and improvements to create a more accessible, functional, and aesthetically pleasing waterfront area.

As is the case with most Council projects funding won’t always come from the same budget. Therefore, we were tasked with dividing our estimates into clear sections. Roading, Seawall and Landscaping.

By separating our estimate, it serves as a guide to the local council and project team.

Since our initial estimate we have assisted the client in the refining the scope, highlighting key elements through value engineering.
