The project involved the reconfiguration of road marking and signage along Tom Pearce Drive from Leonard Issit Drive to Puhinui Roundabout to create a ‘high occupancy vehicle’ lane.
Additionally, intersection improvements at the junctions, new pavement construction and associated storm-water and footpaths were undertaken.
Cuesko worked with AIAL management and other stakeholders over 6 months to ensure this project was delivered on time.
Cuesko provided quantity surveying and cost management services for the project including cost estimating, procurement and price negotiations, payment recommendation and financial reports.
Due to the nature of the works and the traffic management requirements, a significant proportion of ‘provisional sums’ were required. Cuesko worked extensively with the main-contractor to verify the net cost of the construction works to verify the values claimed by the Contractor.
