PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Te Uru Subdivision Stage 1 project was a 2.4-hectare site located within the Hobsonville Precinct on Auckland’s North Shore.

The project entailed substantial site development including extensive bulk earthworks and major undercuts, splitting the site into two super lots thereafter into individual lots (132 units), construction of retaining walls, full drainage installations including retention gardens, utility services, new roads, and landscaping.

In addition, new utilities installations to existing road reserves were added to the scope to facilitate the two build partner’s designs. Also, additional council requests were introduced to the scope to construct new pedestrian access to the site and adjacent to the project.

Cuesko had three roles on the project – Precontract Estimating, Post contract full Cost Management QS services (payment certification and financial reporting) and Engineer to Contract.

Cuesko had provided detailed cost estimates, tender documentation, procurement advice, value engineering, tender negotiations and full construction phase administration.
