The 45 million litre reservoir is a new addition to the existing Redoubt Road Reservoir complex that will help to secure Auckland’s water supply in the future and accommodate the region’s expansion. The current reservoirs store 120 million litres of water, which is significant because the site supplies 80% of Auckland’s treated water supply on a daily basis. The project includes pipes for network connections and site access roads.
The project is divided into two phases: early works (enabling works) and major works (construction of reservoir).
Design engineering was undertaken by Beca.
Cuesko has been engaged by Watercare to offer comprehensive QS services, including post-contract quantity surveying and cost control.
