Northern Network Transportation Project

Auckland International Airport Limited’s masterplan includes several substantial transport improvement initiatives, including the Northern Network Transportation Project (NNTP).

The main purpose of the project is to provide improved traffic capacity along the major routes and road corridors, to improve travel times to and from the airport, while catering for future growth, improved pedestrian walkways and access, public transport and the long-term development plans for the airport precinct

Cuesko are engaged by Auckland Airport to provide quantity surveying and construction cost consultancy services for the whole duration of the project, from concept design stage through to completion in 2021.

The project involves significant challenges, notably the staging of the works to minimise disruption to the traffic flows and the significant reliance on traffic management throughout the construction phase.
