Naumi Hotel

Our client purchased an existing hotel in a bad condition which required a complete overhaul and refurbishment both inside and out.

The proposed design created a distinctively unique NZ boutique hotel comprising 200 rooms, conference facility, new lobby, lounge, bar and dining experience with external pool.

There are various types of rooms and suites available to suit all customers whether on holiday, business travel or romantic weekend getaway.

Cuesko Limited’s role on the project was for full QS Services including cost estimating during the design phases, procurement advice for both local contractors and off-shore FF & E purchases, construction administration and the Funder’s QS for ANZ Bank.

This project was very complex as the refurbishment exposed various non-compliant issues around passive fire protection, rotten timber floor structure and a roof replacement to some areas.

The works to the hotel was completed in stages and it remained fully operational during the works.
