Mt Smart Stadium – RLWC Upgrades

Prior to the Rugby League World Cup hosted between New Zealand & Australia in late 2017, several critical areas requiring upgrade were identified including, entrance gates, lighting, screens, stand remedials, change rooms and the media room.

Operating under strict time constraints & with a limited budget, we worked collaboratively with the client, design team and the Contractor to deliver these works on time and in budget.

Our involvement began in the pre-contract phase, where we completed estimates and assisted in optioneering while scope was established.

Due to time constraints, the Contractor initially tendered on basic concept drawings, & negotiations were undertaken while the design was being resolved.

The collaborative approach continued through the construction phase & helped ensure minimal Variations and achieve the required delivery date.
