Construction of the MPI project commenced in November 2016 and is due for completion late in 2017.
The development includes a high-quality multi-level office with an extensive glazed façade and structural steel frame. Additionally, two large sheds, one of which includes a mezzanine floor as a feature.
The distinctive element of this development is the National Dog Detection Centre, this includes 80 kennels to house MPI’s highly trained and valued dogs. The kennels are primarily of precast concrete construction, and will include underfloor heating. NDDC also features a whelping centre and dog training facilities.
Macrennies Commercial Construction are the Contractor, and procurement is being undertaken on an open book basis.
