This long-term project involves the expansion of Auckland International Airport’s existing fuel supply network over a period of 23 years and create a resilient future-proofed ring-main system. It also involves the decommissioning and demolition of the existing tank farm and construction of a new facility.
It will be constructed in conjunction with other planned future airport expansion projects.
The project has several challenges that influence the construction, notably the airside works and associated restrictions.
The duration of this project requires a staged approach allowing for the airport to remain operational.
Cuesko’s were appointed by WorleyParsons to undertake feasibility cost estimating, projecting the total anticipated costs, staging the costs and isolating various sections of the project costs.
