PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Dovedale ‘Hayashi’ Project was initiated to cater for additional residential housing stock for students.

The project was a design and build process with the proposed designs having to meet not just design briefs but having to show a commitment to low life cycles costs.

Tenderers went through and initial review process to confirm the proposal met the aesthetics and feel of the surrounds.

Completed tenders were scored on cost, cost per bed and life cycle costs and technical merit.
Naylor Love were appointed once the review process was completed, their proposal included for prefabricated bathroom pods and wall panels that allowed increased installation speeds.

Cuesko’s roles were to review costs from tender to contract stage, which included life cycle costings.

Post contract included contract administration, payment recommendations and variation valuations to final account stage.
