Waiari Water Supply Scheme

The Waiari Water Supply Scheme comprises the construction of a water abstraction facility on the Waiari Stream, a water treatment plant on No.1 Road, Te Puke and an underground water pipeline from the plant to Papamoa. The plant will service the Papamoa coastal strip and provide a back-up for Western Bay of Plenty.

The scope of works includes a water pumped facility approximately 20km long. The construction methods involve a mix of open trench excavations, horizontal direction drilling, and steel encased pipe runs.

Cuesko are engaged to provide ongoing cost consultancy services which include tender review and reporting, guidance in respect of scope and sectional completion requirements for efficiency and deliverable time frames. Cost management, cost administration and cost reporting to final account settlement stage.
