Air New Zealand Lounge

This project involved converting the public viewing area and airport meeting rooms located on level 2 of the International Terminal into a new 2,400m2 lounge for Air New Zealand.

Three extensions were required to create the space, a rear extension over an existing concrete roof slab, an extension over a lightweight roof and an extension on the apron elevation to form a two storey access route with two new escalators and a new lift suspended at level 1.

The Air New Zealand fit out was completed as an integrated project but as a separate contract.

Cuesko were commissioned to provide the following services:

• Full QS services through design, procurement and construction phases.
